I am an immigrant in Canada, lives in Edmonton. I tried to get a mortgage on my property in Morristown, New Jersey, USA. I approached several major donors has merit. I refused the loan because I was not living permanently in the United States. I need your help to provide a financial institution (U.S. or foreign) to find me work. I have a credit rating acceptable to U.S. and my work in Germany is stable and well-paid (working title for the Government of the Province of Alberta). I have something for you. I can not go to the second position behind another mortgage, but the loan could be useful. Even if you tried to Wachovia, please contact me again because I believe that the loan is relatively new to the bank and many bankers do not know. I recently to refinance to a nonresident alien with this loan, then I know that it can be applied.

I think we will encounter this problem in all its creditors. Most of the time you must be a resident in the United States or have a green card, etc. to obtain credit.
